About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Receivables, you'll play a key role in managing the end-to-end accounts receivable process across multiple business entities. This includes processing daily bank deposits, following up on outstanding debts, resolving queries, and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You'll also contribute to process improvements and support the continuous development of the shared services function. Once you're confident in the role, there's flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
Process daily bank deposits across multiple entities
Conduct credit checks on new clients
Follow up on outstanding invoices via phone and email
Investigate and resolve debtor queries promptly
Prepare monthly and ad-hoc client statements
Complete special invoicing runs (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
Escalate and resolve issues as required
Suggest and implement improvements to AR processes
About You
2-3 years' experience in an autonomous Accounts Receivable role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Proficient in Excel and quick to learn new systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central highly regarded)
Strong customer service mindset and ability to collaborate within a team environment
