- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- Rate: $93,552.81 - $99,588.47 per annum + 13% superannuation

About the Role
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Designing and delivering engaging learning and organisational development programs aligned with Council's strategic direction.
- Leading implementation and continuous improvement of the Competency Framework, learning pathways, and leadership development initiatives.
- Facilitating workshops, coaching sessions, and team development activities for leaders across Council, including the senior Collective Leadership Team.
- Managing Council's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring compliance training, licences, and qualifications are maintained and reported.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify capability gaps and co-create development strategies.
- Overseeing early career programs such as internships, apprenticeships, work experience, and graduate placements.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and supervision to one direct report and promoting a positive, high-performance team culture.
- Developing change, communication, and engagement strategies to support the implementation of organisational development initiatives.
- Preparing reports, communications, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in learning and development, organisational capability, or workforce strategy.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead through influence.
- Experience managing an LMS and a good understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- The ability to translate data and trends into actionable insights and practical development initiatives.
- Project management experience and a proven track record in implementing organisational change.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
- Current C Class Driver's Licence and full working rights in Australia.
