Looking for your next step in sales? Working for a trusted leader in the wholesale distribution of premium fire protection systems and equipment since 2012. Based in Sydney's South, our client serves customers across Australia and the globe with cutting-edge detection and suppression products.
We're currently hiring for a full-time Sales Executive, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in sales, trades, mechanical systems, or ERP platforms (especially Odoo) who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is keen to develop product and industry expertise.
This role combines customer service, order processing, and technical product quoting. If you have experience with Odoo ERP and/or a background in mechanical or trades-related environments, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you'll:
- Sales Support: Engage with clients via phone, email, and in-person to respond to enquiries, provide quotes, and guide product selection.
- Odoo ERP Management: Update CRM records, generate quotations, process sales orders, and issue invoices through Odoo.
- Order Processing & Logistics: Oversee end-to-end order processing, manage freight logistics, and liaise with warehousing to ensure stock availability and timely delivery.
- Support the sales team with CRM updates and admin
- Administrative Coordination: Monitor the sales inbox, maintain meticulous records, handle pricing requests, and support internal teams with sales documentation.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience using Odoo (or similar ERP/CRM systems)
- Background in sales or mechanical, engineering, or trade environments
- Proven skills in order processing, quoting, invoicing, and freight coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Confidence in working towards sales targets and KPIs
