We are seeking a motivated and experienced Car Sales Consultant to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years' experience in the Japanese used car market who is looking to take the step in their career with a company specialising in tailored car sourcing and direct imports from Japan.

As a Car Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving sales performance by delivering a personalised, high-quality experience to both individual and business clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Welcome and assist customers, identify their needs, and recommend suitable vehicles.
  

• Product Expertise: Provide accurate and detailed information on vehicle features, specifications, and benefits.
  

• B2B & B2C Sales: Manage both retail and wholesale (dealer) clients, leveraging direct imports to achieve sales goals.
  

• Sales Negotiation: Confidently negotiate pricing and finance options in line with customer budgets.
  

• Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  

• Database Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and inventory.
  

• Custom Vehicle Sourcing: Support clients in sourcing and importing vehicles from Japan to match preferences and budgets.
  

• Market Insight: Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity to deliver value to clients.
  

• Customer Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships through outstanding service and product knowledge.
  

About You

• 2-3 years' experience in car sales, ideally within the Japanese used vehicle sector
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  

• Familiarity with Japanese car brands and models highly regarded
  

• Good understanding of the local automotive market
  

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
