Finance Officer
Location: Melbourne
Work Type: Temporary
30 hours per week, days negotiable (Monday to Friday); Thursday mandatory work onsite
Monday - Friday 9:00-5:00 August to October 2025 with possibility of extension.
Key Selection Criteria * Completion of a tertiary qualification in Commerce/Accounting with some relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience. * Demonstrated experience in accounting, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, internal and external reporting, taxation, cash management and auditing. * Ability to understand and interpret legislations, Acts and Accounting standards and the ability to apply this knowledge to the position objectives. * Proficiency in the application of accounting principles and procedures, particularly budgeting, forecasting and reporting, including the underlying principles as distinct from the practices. * Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders. * Well-developed IT skills with a strong focus on Financial Management Information systems and Microsoft Excel
