Located in Western Sydney’s distribution centre, logistics and supply chain hub, the Distribution Development Centre (DDC) is a reflection of HOBAN’s commitment to providing the local economy with highly-skilled, in-demand people meeting the needs of businesses and job seekers. The concept of the facility was developed across a 12-month period in response to the local skill demands for businesses in the logistics and warehousing industries.

HOBAN has drawn on its seasoned experience in warehousing, logistics and training & development to provide a facility to help produce skilled, in-demand talent through our customised, hands-on forklift and warehouse training. Recent findings from our 2021/22 Workforce Trends Report, with data from over 400 of Australia’s largest employers, highlights that logistics and warehousing staff are the most challenging skill to hire for.
