HOBAN Recruitment is proud to contribute to the ongoing operations of The Salvation Army to support its efforts in delivering wraparound support to vulnerable members of society across Melbourne. This is the thirteenth year HOBAN Recruitment has supported The Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army Project 614 operates the Lighthouse Café, a welcoming and all-inclusive venue in the heart of Melbourne CBD with the mission of building strong relationships with people by providing a strong sense of belonging, acceptance and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

From providing essentials such as food, housing, legal assistance and community events, Project 614 is a critical part of the community to ensure that no one is left behind and has a place to seek support – and more importantly, feel valued. The Salvation Army and Project 614 are organisations that directly align the values of HOBAN Recruitment putting people first.

I am incredibly happy to work for a company that cares for people like HOBAN Recruitment does

This year, HOBAN Recruitment’s donation efforts included additional contributions from our candidates that recognise the incredible work The Salvation Army does. The team at HOBAN Recruitment were blown away by the overwhelming support from our candidates that opened up their wallets to contribute alongside the business. “I am incredibly happy to work for a company that cares for people like HOBAN Recruitment does” commented a very generous candidate. We are incredibly thankful and proud of the support provided by our people.

On top of financial assistance, the team at HOBAN Recruitment donated food items and toys across our branch network that will be used to help assist The Salvation Army in their efforts to support the community closer to the Christmas period.

HOBAN Recruitment is proud of aligning closely with The Salvation Army and support in any way we can. Earlier this year, our Brisbane team laced up their shoes to raise funds for the organisation by running on behalf of The Salvation Army during the 2021 Bridge to Brisbane.

We invite you to learn more about the great work that is done by The Salvation Army Project 614 Lighthouse Café by visiting their website.

A big thank you to everyone involved in supporting this valuable program on behalf of HOBAN Recruitment. Please accept our best wishes for a happy and safe festive season from the team at HOBAN Recruitment.
